I am currently using the corvette as a Multi-cannon Boat with 2x Incendiary mc's on the class 4 hardpoints.... all of them are modded with overcharged... and suggestions on other engineering changes i should make to the weapons. and or another build that would be better for PVE
So PvE targets typically don't stack resistances across the board like a human does. This opens them up to the general weaknesses of their defense systems, thermal vs shields and kinetic vs hull. Right now your huge multis are performing the 'Pop' function of a 'Pop 'n Drop' fight. In PvE, we can rely on lasers to do that. Two small and two medium lasers (pick a variant you like) at close range can do the job. A Vette is a huge fighter so no need for turrets.
The huge and large need to stay kinetic as those are what will do the lions share of damage to exposed hulls and small weapons have a damage penalty vs upsized targets. One huge needs to be corrosive. The large multi has a spool up time and the huge doesn't so it will be more effective for that damage over time or short shooting window when jousting.
The other huge multi and large multi go overcharged and oversized. Other special effects are fun but NPCs ignore a lot of them so just go for the big damage. This will help with faster knockouts, especially if targetting powerplants.
